The First Tee

Targeting youth development is essential for any competitive sport. It creates better future players and overall interest in the sport, yes, but enhancing essential life skills and overall youth development is even more essential for a successful youth organization. The First Tee is professional golf’s youth program that does just this. Since 1997 they have focused on “transforming the experience that kids (and families) have with the game of golf by combining the best of youth sports and youth development into one BIG IDEA.”

Adolescent collaborated with their team on brand exploration and development, focused on a refreshed look that felt energetic, athletic and lots of fun. Logo development, color palette, invite + social media templates were all essential parts to consider and develop for use brand wide. They are the largest youth golf organization in the world with over 200 branches globally, all of different sizes and resources. Golf is traditionally a more niche sport, so the branding needed to be as approachable and attractive to as many kids as possible — drawing interest and building excitement towards the organization.
