Last year's partnership with the US Open and Outfront Xlabs was a smashing success, and this year we've continued our collaboration for the US Open 2023 to create another larger-than-life showcase of the event. The mission: to up the ante and bring even more energy to the US Open to Penn Station via 3D anamorphic billboard.

With its vibrant energy and iconic skyline, New York City serves as the perfect backdrop for the creative in all it represents - diversity, ambition, and the pursuit of excellence. Our design captures the essence of NYC, making this year's US Open Spectacular campaign a true homage to the Big Apple.

 

As the tennis ball reaches its apex against the NYC Skyline, light streaks follow its trajectory, creating a mesmerizing visual spectacle and highlighting the best players the US Open has to offer. The ball then gets struck across the court by various players with a light trail to follow, symbolizing the energy of the US Open.

Get ready to be swept off your feet by the exhilaration of tennis, the US Open and New York City, all in one stunning display.


Spectacular Awaits

Spectacular was awaiting in NYC for the US Open. We had the opportunity to work on one of the most unique Outfront 3D billboards, featuring a great base and tall neck. For this custom animation, we brought the iconic features of a racket and official US Open tennis ball, playing off each other for a dynamic back and forth. After several hits, the content results in a neon popping logo reveal as a nice payoff for the pedestrians passing by.
