We collaborated with director Matthew Miele on his feature documentary film “Scatter My Ashes at Bergdorf’s.” The film provides an insider’s look at NYC’s Bergdorf Goodman, one of the world’s most iconic fashion department stores. It celebrates the talents that shape the store and the customers who worship it. It features fashion icons such as Oscar de la Renta, Marc Jacobs, Diane von Fürstenberg, and Linda Fargo. The opening title sequence created by our team was inspired by the decadence of 1930s cinema. We also created animated segments and graphic treatments, including a walk-through of the century-old store, the evolution of its advertisements, and its successful social media initiative for BG’s famed 5F. The film received praise from leading critics like Peter Travers of Rolling Stone, who said “You don’t have to be in vogue to enjoy this stylish ride through Bergdorf’s. It’s a surprise package to die for”.
