EXPLORER: THE LAST TEPUI / Promo Toolkit

EXPLORER series is one of Nat Geo's iconic legacy franchises. Adolescent worked with Nat Geo and Disney+ for their Earth Day special, Explorer: The Last Tepui featuring Alex Honnold. The award-winning series highlights untold epic stories and unseen places from a unique point of view. The Tepui, meaning tabletop mountain, served as the inspiration for the tall block typography combined with rocky gritty texture and cinematic footage to create the look for the promotion campaign. The motion suggested the fearlessness and speed it took to explore the untouched territory.

Our design was eventually distilled into a flexible toolkit for other Explorer series in the future, no matter where Explorer takes us.
